Since you can select if the spam should be deleted right away or forwarded to a different email account, you can create spam@domain.com, for example, and view all filtered messages there, so as to make sure that you will not omit an email that you require. The email messages that the anti-spam filter permits to proceed will still be delivered to your inbox.
